Toyokawa City abounds in unique features. The sacred Toyokawa Inari Shrine is one of the three major Inari Shrines in Japan, enshrining more than 1,000 fox statues. The city also boasts not only a thriving agricultural industry led by the largest volume of rose production in Japan, but also a bustling manufacturing industry such as the largest volume of bullet train railcar production in the nation. The city showcases different appearances for each of the four seasons, starting with the 700 cherry blossoms and rapeseed in spring, festivals such as the gorgeous Kabuki procession, and the Yamato Giant Ginkgo Tree measuring a height of 25 meters and width of 10 meters.
