Kiyokawa is the only village in Kanagawa Prefecture located at the foot of the eastern Tanzawa Mountains in the northwestern part of Kanagawa Prefecture. Its entirety has been designated as part of Tanzawa-Oyama Quasi-National Park and Tanzawa-Oyama Prefectural Natural Park. It has good water that flows from its virgin forest of Japanese fir, which is a natural monument designated by the prefecture, and abundant beech forests into mountain streams, making it a beautiful area with wonderful scenery from season to season.
